The Salon & Spa Relief Fund is a non-profit organization established to help salon and spa owners and their employees rebuild their lives and businesses. Since 2005, we have distributed over $200,000 in grants and 100% of the funds received are available to help people in the salon and spa industry.
The Salon & Spa Relief Fund is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code so donations to the organization are tax deductible.
We are currently working to add three additional board members. Jennifer Lee, a partner with the Chehardy law firm has agreed to serve on the board. Ms. Lee actually established the non-profit organization in 2005 and has continued to be part of the administrative staff to date. Louie Lago, the president of SalonBiz® and Kathleen Turpel, CEO of Imaginal Marketing have also agreed to serve as additional board members. They would join the current board members: Edwin Neill, President, Neill Corporation; Debra Neill-Baker, Chairman, Neill Corporation; Jim Pacifico, CEO, Centre Salons; and Jim Petrillo, President, Be-Aveda Institutes.
